2010 Teacher Appreciation at Silverado Vineyards

80 Napa County teachers were honored on February 4th at Silverado Vineyards, at the sixth Annual Teacher Appreciation event hosted by Napa County Farm Bureau’s Agriculture in the Classroom program and sponsored by the Dairy Counciland Silverado Vineyards.
The evening was a great success.A lot of enthusiasm was generated through achievements for the past year, outreach for Ag in the Classroom, and upcoming events.Dave Whitmer, Napa County Ag Commissioner, was the guest speaker for the evening. The wine dinner included door prizes, resources provided by Agriculture in the Classroom and their partner organizations, hands on activities.
