Farm Bureau Workers Comp Rebuttable Presumption Webinar

Governor Newsom's recent Executive Order creates a temporary, rebuttable workers' compensation presumption of workers' comp coverage for employees who have worked in your workplace and contracted COVID-19 between March 19, 2020 and July 4, 2020.

That may leave some questions in your mind:

·    What is a rebuttable presumption?

·    Should I contest a workers comp claim if an employee is diagnosed with COVID-19 and seeks workers' comp benefits?

·    How do I do that?

California Farm Bureau and it's affiliate Farm Employers Labor Service is offering a webinar featuring attorneys from Hanna Brophy LLP, a California - specialized workers' compensation defense law firm:

·    Ruben Pineda (Managing Partner – Fresno)

·    Taylor Arnold (Attorney – Oakland) to review Gov. Newsom's Executive Order and similar bills pending in the legislature and discuss their implications to agricultural employers in California.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.
